Spring Skincare: Face Mask Favorites

GlamGlow Flashmud Brightening Treatment - I got really into face masks before my wedding last year and this one was my absolute favorite.  I ran out of it the week of the wedding and made a special trip to Sephora to pick it up so that I could use it the night before.  It's a great exfoliator to get rid of all of the dead skin.  I especially love to use it after a night of wearing a good amount of make up, because I feel like it really takes everything off and leave me with a fresh face.  It has little beads in it that you can really feel are scrubbing your face.

Herbivore Brighten Instant Glow Mask - This has been another favorite of mine for the last year.  Even my sister loves this brand and mask and she's extra picky about what goes on her skin.  It is
really light to put on and goes on almost clear.  As it dries, it begins to harden, but doesn't feel too stiff on the face.  It almost feels like it's filling in your wrinkles.  This mask really leaves your face feeling fresh and bright while also evening out your skin tone.  I love to use this one right after taking off the Glam Glow mask above to leave my face feeling extra fresh.

Patchology Flash Patch Lip Gels - These gels have saved my lips.  I originally received these as a gift last year (thanks Daniele!) and they quickly became a fan favorite.  I've suffered from the most dry lips over the past year and have tried everything possible to add back hydration.  These are one of the few products that you can see the results right away. My lips really feel more hydrated, soft,
and plump after using these.

Shiseido Ibuki Beauty Sleeping Mask - I've  talked about this product before on the blog, but I'd be remiss not to talk about it as one of my favorite masks.  I discovered this product about a year ago when I was on the search for a really hydrating night cream. This product is magic.  It goes on your skin really light, but in a gel form.  It feels really refreshing and leaves my skin super soft by morning. I use this product almost every night before bed.  It absorbs into the skin really quickly and does not feel sticky at all. I hate those heavy night creams that you can feel on your face all night and feel like your skin is still wet and sticking to your pillow and this mask doesn't give you that feeling.

Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask - My last two mask favorites are from one of my favorite brands - Peter Thomas Roth.  You really can't go wrong with almost all of their products. I love this mask, especially in the summer.  It has a way of detoxifying the face without feeling drying.  My skin is super sensitive and this product is able to give me a fresh, clean face without irritating.  This is also great to keep in the fridge in the summer to really de-puff your face!

Peter Thomas Roth Lift & Firm Hydra-Gel Eye Patches - There is a reason that these eye patches have such amazing reviews.  These eye patches have a really nice cool feeling when applied.  This is another mask that I used the night before my wedding, because I just love the results.  These gels are quite pricey, but totally worth it. I only use them about once a week so one tub of these has lasted me 6 months!

Happy Wednesday! Half way to the weekend and it's already been a long week.  We've had dreary weather in Chicago which is making me long for the summer sunshine!  I've linked a few other skincare favorites below.

Spring Favorites: Everything Blush

One. | Two. | Three. | Four. | Five. | Six. | Seven. | Eight. | Nine. | Ten.

Spring is right around the corner and I couldn't be more ready for warm weather.  This winter seemed to have dragged out longer than necessary!  I'm loving blush for spring and am ready to start pulling out my spring clothes and packing away my heavy coats for the winter.

Current Makeup Favorites - March Edition

Becca  Undereye Brightening Corrected - I saw this product on a bunch of different blogs/youtubers and thought it was worth a try.  I'm generally against putting anything too peachy on my face, because I feel like I already have a red undertone that I don't want to enhance.  I use this product strictly on the darkest part of my undereye before putting on concealer.  I apply it with a small concealer brush or my fingers.  I think it applies best with your fingers and goes on without creasing.  A little bit goes a long way!

Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil Ultra-file Shape & Define Pencil - I bought this eyebrow pencil on a whim on one of my frequent Ulta trips thinking that it would be good to fill in the very end of my brow, but have found myself reaching for it over and over again.  For the longest time I thought that an eyebrow pencil took forever to fill in brows and really leaned toward just using an eyebrow gel, but I'm actually become pretty quick at filling in my brows and like that they look so much more natural when I do. This ultra thin pencil really mimics brows easily.

Charlotte Tilbury Air Brush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro-Powder - Once again, this product was so highly talked about by bloggers/youtubers that I knew I had to see what all of the hype was about. This powder goes on so evenly and smooth.  This powder is so easy to use and sets all of your makeup in one which swipe.  It's really translucent, but I purchased the lightest shade.  The powder is super finely milled so it doesn't look cakey and powdery on even the driest winter skin.

MAC Lipstick in 'Honey Love' - I have been obsessing over lip products lately.  I think since I took of my eyelash extensions, I've really been having fun trying different lip combinations to distract from my eyes being so boring now!  I love a good nude lip color and have been trying a bunch of different colors over the last few months.  You really can't go wrong with a Mac lipstick and I've come to love to color 'Honey Love'.  I have also tried and loved: 'Creme D'nute' and 'Velvet Teddy'.  I am also hooked on their lip liners and love the colors: 'Boldly Bare' 'Spice' 'Stripdown' and ' Subculture'.  Clearly I could do a whole post just about my favorite lip products.

MAC Pro Longwear Paint Point in 'Bare Study' - I don't do any crazy colors on my lips or my eyes so I love this paint pot as an eyeshadow base.  It helps smooth out your eyelids and helps your eyeshadow stay in place. I don't wear eye shadow often, but when I do I feel like it would always be gone by the end of the night.  This really help lock everything in place and provides a really pretty base for your eye shadow.

These products have been my new favorites lately, but I will like a few other favorites in the widget below.  Happy Monday!
