Running Update - Week of August 18th

7 and a half weeks until marathon day!  #ChicagoMarathingHereICome!  Training is going well - just finding myself a little more tired than normal this week.  Maybe the 17 miles last weekend really got to me.  I am trying to take more rest this week to prepare for the 18 miles on the schedule this Saturday!  

Sunday: 5 miles - PM, 9'05 pace 
Monday: 5 miles - AM, 9'40 pace
Tuesday: 8 miles - PM, 9'56
Wednesday: Impromptu rest day
Thursday: [Hopefully run 5 morning miles]
Friday: [Rest day/light lifting]
Saturday: [Big 18 miler!]

Countdown to Chicago Marathon: 53 Days!

Wish me luck on my 18 miler!  We are going to the cubs game after so hopefully I won't be in too much pain!
